Bai Xiang Ju
Reading a layered city through entrances, levels and the boundary between public life and home.

The spatial problem
Bai Xiang Ju brings movement through a dense, multi-level environment into focus. The project uses site analysis, plans, axonometric drawings and spatial proposals to explore how shared spaces fit into an existing urban fabric.
From space to interaction
A subsequent UX concept proposes entrance-led information, explicit changes in level, and a clear distinction between public and private areas. It asks how a visitor might understand a route before starting, without treating residential space as a tourist attraction.
Evidence and limits
The spatial drawings and visualisations are existing work. The digital wayfinding extension is a proposal: field access, accessible routes, indoor positioning and usability have not been verified in the supplied materials. Background use of published interviews and surveys should be distinguished from interviews I conducted myself.
